ABOUT MAX
Maxime currently works as a cinematic director at Ubisoft Montreal. After ten years of freelance work on film sets, he took an opportunity to challenge himself in the video game industry. His past experiences, both professionally and as a gamer, give him a unique perspective when approaching narrative in this new, always evolving medium.
In his freelance career, Maxime had the chance to evolve as a cinematographer and a director. He worked on documentaries, short films, TV series and ads. He directed his own serie of fiction (The Florists) in 2020, acclaimed by critics and festivals.
Always interested to push the boundaries of storytelling, Maxime doesn’t hesitate to draw in his past experiences to enhance his creativity as a cinematic director. At ease with actors, artists and collaborators, he knows how to convey inspiration to his team with creative ideas, clear communications and thoughtful preparation. Everything within his natural calmness and self-control.
